We have elected to follow the directives of the CDC and WHO, and have suspended programming and events for the next several weeks. We will take this time to catch up on organizational duties, make plans to reschedule postponed events, structure our summer sailing camp and determine how best to successfully emerge from this unavoidable suspension of our programs.
While these are anxious and uncertain times, we do know that there is no better way to spend the day than soaking in the sunshine and breathing fresh sea air. The negative ions that we inhale in abundance compliments of Biscayne Bay are believed to produce biochemical reactions that increase serotonin levels, helping to alleviate depression, relieve stress, boost energy and enhance the immune system. We encourage everyone to consider spending more time on the water!
What can you do to help? Most importantly look after yourselves and those around you! We look forward to the day in the near future when we can get everyone back out sailing. In the meantime, please consider making a donation today to help sustain us during this challenging time. We are all part of a global community, and together we are stronger!
